Dr. Kim Johnson is an Army brat from Memphis, TN.
She graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the University of Tennessee, followed by a Small Animal Oncology Residency at the University of Missouri. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2007. She has worn many hats, including oncology fellow, clinical instructor, and associate professor.
Following her stint as an associate professor at the University of Missouri and MSU CVM, she worked in a specialty practice for 7 years and then started her own business, PetCancerConsulting, which includes telemedicine and a busy locum practice. She now consults on oncology cases for us here at Mobley Veterinary Clinic.
When off duty, she enjoys SEC sports, especially football, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
